I bought this book because it came highly recommended from my girl Jessy over at BookEnd 2 BookEnd . I'll admit that I had my doubts when I began to read it. I thought that it was going to be another one of those annoying high school dramas with a whiney brat of a character. Woah was I wrong! Their high school romance only lasted for so long but damn it was hot! Norma Jean is nothing like the character I assumed she'd be. She is a feisty little firecracker! I wasn't sure how I felt about Chance at first because he seemed like a total douche bag. He did a complete turn around and he's a complete sweetheart! He's so passionate and true in his love for Norma Jean. Norma starts to fall for him, too, abandoning her plan to crush him....that is until an unfortunate turn of events.
Fast forward a few years and Chance comes stumbling back into her life. If you thought their relationship was hot before, wait until you get here. I'm pretty sure I had to wipe the drool from my chin a few times. Norma has a few skeletons in her closet and shit WILL hit the fan! I can't even tell you the last time I read a contemporary romance with such suspense. Norma Jean will leave you hungry for more.
