My 1 Year Blogoversary Celebration!!

WOOOOOOOO I made it!!! This past year has been a whirlwind for me. I wish I had a picture of the butt ugly blog that I made when I started...it was quite comical and my graphic designer brother made fun of me. Now I have this awesome one made by Ishita from The Reading Fish! Anyhoo, I have had a pleasure of meeting some great authors and bloggers. I wouldn't be here today without them and I ESPECIALLY wouldn't be here without my readers.  This celebration is for you!

I'm going to name drop because these peeps are super special :-) I may not talk to them all the time but they are the reason I started blogging and continue to blog.

My blogger bitch Lori... love her to death! She's like my twin and I can talk to her about anything. Her blog is Contagious Reads so check her out! She also had these kind words to say for my celebration "The first memory I have of Ren is a conversation that we had on facebook about how nasty our glasses were. Since then our friendship has been nothing but macrbe smartassery to the extreme. We love to have fun, read good books and share a passion for all things skulls and snark. More than that has been a hand holder, a supporter and a place to vent. No matter big or small she is there for her friends. When I don't know how to do something she's like duh! and tells me how to do it. I love that. She works hard to maintain her blog, she promotes the crap out of the books she is passionate about and is all around one of the hardest working bloggers I know. I love this girl! Congrats on your 1 year!!! Here's to meeting at UtopYa and another year of blogging madness!!!"

D.T. Dyllin and The Dragon Hussies... it's crazy how a book, or in the case a series, can bring readers together. I knew some of the girls from the reading community but I'm a chicken when it comes to adding peeps on Facebook. I wound up requesting them and now I love them to death! They are the coolest chicks and they make for some great conversation. <33 you girls Jessy, Shona, Kellee, Sarah and Bieke...and of course the amazing author that made it possible, Dara :)
