The country is in total lockdown, policed by the military. Because he's sick like the others, his Grammy keeps him locked in an old storage cage in the basement. When he finally gets free, he discovers the twisted truth in plain sight and attempts to flee.

So this wasn't a bad short story. My oldest thought it was funny I was reading a zombie story while playing call of duty zombies. Though it is a short read R.M. did her job by writing a good short story. Granny is really truly sweet, she is taking care of her family in a time of crisis but at what cost?
