*I was not compensated for my review. This was a personal purchase.

I was browsing through Facebook a few weeks ago and saw a video of the Shefit bra. I'm a skeptic by nature and thought there was no way that this thing could be as good as it looks. And with a $64 price tag, it better be the next best thing since sliced bread. I have tried many sports bras in my day, usually with price point being the driving force in my decision. I have had two friends purchase this before me and tell me how amazing it was so I bit the bullet and decided to invest in comfort for me.

If you don't already know, I'm a plus sized athlete and we all know how hard it is to find quality athletic wear for a decent price. The thing I loved about Shefit's pricing was that it was $64 no matter what size you fall under. Their sizes range from xsmall to 6Luxe and you can view their size chart >>here<<. Nothing pisses me off more than premium pricing for plus size athletic wear. Shefit made me super happy with this!

Now let me get into the bra itself. There are thin removable cups inside the bra. Normally I hate when sports bras come with these because they never stay or they bunch up and look soooo unsightly. These stayed put the entire time! The construction is truly magnificent. They did not skimp at all when it came to fabric choice, velcro, and hardware. Say bye, bye to the dreaded uni-boob! 😂 This bra kept them right where they were supposed to be. I'd have to say my favorite part was that it provides an amazing level of support without all the squishing. It compresses without actually squeezing the life out of the girls. It's MAGIC!! Edited to add: I can't believe I forgot the most important part...the bounce factor! Your girls are safe and sound in this bra. I can gladly say that my chest stayed right where I adjusted the bra to. I could run, punch, kick, etc with very little to no bounce.

There's definitely an adjustment period with this bra. It was simple to put on and I thought I had it adjusted properly...until I started working out. The hardware on the straps was digging into my skin a but and it felt a little loose on the back of the straps. This was quickly remedied by pulling the back straps up and tightening them.
My only real complaint are these zipper covers (I don't know what you would actually call them hahaha) They didn't really stay put for me and the bottom of the zipper would give me a little poke in the skin. I feel like this could be remedied if there was a velcro piece that went over both sides and attached instead of simply being there. Was it a dealbreaker? Absolutely not. Stylistically speaking, it's a pretty bra. Definitely better than your run of the mill sports bras. And if you're so inclined to go jogging with just your Shefit, it has these cool reflective silver lines down the front.
Overall, this is a fantastic product and I would love to buy more (my wallet doesn't though.) I almost wish they had a deal or something like bogo 50%. I think even just having two or three and hand-washing them afterwards will last you a good while. I have yet to try that. I don't think I'll ever be the same if I go back to a regular sports bra LOL. You've ruined me!!!

11/17/17 EDIT:

I've had the Shefit for about 5 months now and I'm still in love with it. It still looks brand new. All of the velcro is exactly where it's supposed to be, there's no warping and no zipper issues. The other day, Shefit Apparel was offering a one day only 30% off deal. OMFG I just about died! I went and screamed it from the mountain tops. I immediately got onto Facebook and had to tell ALLLLL my friends and athletes that my favorite bra ever was on sale and to run before they were all gone. I decided to optimize my discount and purchase two because 1. they are amazing and I need them ALL 2. Because orders over $70 got free shipping. They are still worth every penny. Mine came out to $43 each!

I went home on my lunch break to find my newly purchased Shefit's today! I'm cheesing like it's my job but these bras make me ridiculously happy.

This time, I went down to a 2Luxe size. Their sizing calculator has me at a 3Luxe but that chart shows that I can be either/or.  I have to say that I like the fit better on the 2Luxe. It's not a huge change in sizing (and I'll take more pics and details on those later) I quickly tried it on over my clothes and it was HEAVENNNNNNNN, y'all.
