The timelines - the web - is more tightened than ever. Although the connections are clear, suspense reigns as always.
Onyx Webb is a complex multi-genre mash-up that combines elements of supernatural suspense, crime, horror, romance, and more. The Onyx Webb series follows the unusual life of Onyx Webb along with a central group of characters in various locations and times.
The billionaire Mulvaney family, piano prodigy Juniper Cole and her brother Quinn, paranormal show hosts Cryer and Fudge, and a few others make up the core of the series. Written like a book version of your favorite tv series (think: supernatural soap opera like American Horror Story) each character’s story moves forward with most every episode. It may appear that the characters are entirely unrelated and yet episode by episode, the connections will become clearer. Like being an inch away from a spider web, with each book, the web will move further and further away revealing the full story of character and most importantly, the stunning conclusion for Onyx Webb herself.
In Book Eight: Onyx and Alistar's grandson Noah grow close as they create a "life" together with exciting new projects. The Mulvaney mansion is crawling with ghosts as a big event looms. Stan Lee continue to make mistakes without consequences, for now.
Rating:
It seems that things are going to start coming to head with the characters. We have Robin who has been kicked out of her place with Koda because he believes that she has been selling his items. Koda is trying his best to make this party that will be happening that the estate be on point.
Onxy seems to be finding happiness but will a secret that she holds dear ruin it? I am glad to see that Onxy is attempting to find happiness and opening up to others. It seems that her circle of one friend is turning into more. Though I wonder how long it will last. There is a reason the living and dead do not mix well.
Noah as we know he has taken it upon himself to get close to Onxy.
Olympia will have her hands full with the ghost of Nathaniel it seems that he wants her help to solve his death and he will stop at nothing too get the answer.
Newt will be on the hunt for the Leg Collector again when he starts sending him post cards. Though what can it all mean? Newt is a genius and this is one case he is itching to solve.
Stan Lee is making mistakes because of a drug called ketamine will it be his undoing?
There is so much that goes on that it is hard for me to write a review without giving away anything. Like I have said before and I will say it again. If you like mystery and ghosts pick this book up. This is not your normal ghost story it is one that weaves a web where everyone is connected in one way or another. I know this review isn’t much of one it kind of states what the characters will have going on with them. It just all relates to one another. It goes together like a fine web.
For as long as I could remember I wanted to be a speaker. I gave my first paid speech at the age of eight. I took plastic dinosaurs and set them up on a table in my basement, then invited everyone in the neighborhood over to hear me talk about them. As I recall, I charged 5 cents per person to get in. When Ms. Clark told me I was quite a ‘professional’ speaker, I decided that was my calling. Unfortunately, I let that dream go until finally, right before I turned 40, I decided that “One of These Days… Is Now” and I launched my business as a speaker, trainer, and author.
Fast forward 20 years later and I’m a professional speaker and the author of several business parables including the best-selling title, Go for No! Yes is the Destination, No is How You Get There. My wife and business partner Andrea and I speak to audiences all over the world about overcoming fear of failure and rejection and how to reprogram they think about the word, No.
I love the fiction-aspect of fables so much that my newest passion along with Andrea is writing our fictional series, Onyx Webb. Onyx Webb is a cross genre series in the paranormal category. We’ve written it to feel just like you’re watching your favorite t.v. series, whether that’s Downton Abbey or American Horror Story.
I’m a professional speaker, co-author of multiple business fables and most recently have added fiction to my resume.
As co-author of the best-selling title, Go for No! Yes is the Destination, No is How You Get There I am wildly passionate about teaching audiences how they can overcome fear of failure and rejection and reprogram how they think about the word No!
My newest passion is writing and creating a paranormal suspense series, Onyx Webb with author Richard Fenton. Onyx Webb reads like a supernatural soap opera in book form. Our writing is inspired by great t.v. series’ such as Downton Abbey, Bates Motel, The Americans, The Fall, and many others.
