After apocalypse, there’s a whole world to reclaim…
It’s been a decade since the Viral plague that brought the dead back to life with a hunger for living flesh. The survivors have long since fled the big cities and resettled in the countryside, mountains, and plains, building a network of fortresses and cavernous sanctuaries.
As civilization rebuilt and reshaped itself in this nightmarish new world, there arose an overwhelming demand for the supplies and riches left behind in the remains of the old one.
A system of trade and barter formed around the market of these goods, a macabre economy for a dead world. Those brave or foolish enough to seek out treasure among the wastelands became known as the Reapers.
Gus and Oscar are a two-man reaping crew, facing down the horrors of a shattered world in search of its hidden wealth. But more dangerous than the undead Virals, and their various deadly strains, are the others like themselves, cutthroat scavengers bent on plundering the riches of the Reaperlands…

Jillian had a plan: celebrate the end of her first year of college with an amazing summer full of beaches, barbeques, and bonfires. When her mom insists she needs a summer job, and her boyfriend spends more time with his band than with her, Jillian’s plans go down the drain.

Grant had a plan: finish his Masters, get a great job at Google, and get the hell out of Georgia. He might be giving up some of the fun of his youth, but he knows his all work and no play method would be worth it when his dreams came true.

But things never go according to plan.

When temptation brings them together and tragedy tears them apart, Jillian and Grant will be forced to choose: fight for their dreams, or fight for each other.

OMG!!! I can’t remember the last time I devoured a book this fast! I don’t even know where to start. I had this whole spiel in my head of what I wanted to write. I sat down to go write it and my computer crapped out on me :(. Now my thoughts are somewhere in the abyss. So here goes…. I love when a book has impeccable editing. It makes my reading experience that much more enjoyable. There’s nothing worse than getting into a scene and stumbling on a word. It’s really important to me and I don’t think I had to stop once while reading this one.

I really liked Jillian as a character. I almost always have an issue with females in stories. I nitpick everything about them. I didn’t really have any complaints about her. I thought she was genuine, funny, and an all around normal 19 year old. She didn’t have anything on Grant though! :::insert inappropriate drooling here::: I really needed him to fix my computer last night! Sometimes I have issues with the way a man’s point of view is written in a book by a woman. That wasn’t the case here. I constantly found myself thinking “yup, that’s such a male thing to do.” He was definitely my favorite character in the book. He had this charm that was just…ugh…what’s the word I’m looking for…effortless. It wasn’t obnoxious and was downright sexy as hell. It’s not without its hurdles. Jillian has a boyfriend and Grant has a plan for the way he wants his life to go. Pshhhh, boyfriend from hell. He reminds me of someone and I wanna barf every time I hear his name.

Inhale, Exhale is the perfect title for this book. This book with leave you breathless! I can’t even tell you how many times I forgot to breathe while reading this. So many emotions splayed out I’d have to say out of all the scenes, the bowling one is my favorite. There’s just something about those stolen forbidden moments that I can’t help but swoon over. Just everything about this book is sexy without being overly so. If you don’t come out of this wanting to be Grant’s Cupcake, you need to get your head examined!

I have a few quotes that I want to share because I couldn’t resist.

“It killed me, every fuckin’ day, knowing she was down the hall, but I couldn’t be with her. It went against every instinct, telling me to scream MINE and pee in a circle around her cubicle so everyone knew it, too.” ~Grant

“No, you will always be my Cupcake because it describes you perfectly: You’re the thing I crave, the thing I push myself to earn, and the thing that no matter how satisfied I am, I will always want more of you.” ~Grant
How can you not love him?!

I also want to add that Temperance is totally my soul sister! She doesn’t get much play in the book but her character is totally me!

Sarah started her obsession with reading at an early age, often sneaking BabySitter Club and Nancy Drew books into math class. She would read any book she could get her hands on. Her love of reading quickly evolved into a love of writing and stories began to pour out of her.

She grew up in Pittsburgh, graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in English, and taught eighth graders to love reading as much as she does for several years. She currently resides in Pittsburgh with her husband and daughter.

Sarah’s debut novel, AWAKEN, released in January, 2012. Other novels include AVENGE, ATONE, ECHO OF AN EARTH ANGEL, INHALE EXHALE, THE SECRET CRUSH, and NEVER GONNA TELL.

M.E. Purfield returns with his teen-age psychic Miki Radicci rummaging through the underworld of New York to find justice for the dead, but this time the crime hits too close to home.

An average night with her best friend Corey turns for the worst when they bump into Ethan Weisz, leader of the Separatist organization American Strong. Weisz places Corey in a coma, but no one believes that he could accomplish such a fantastical scene of violence. Plus no one saw Weisz at the scene of the crime or the use of his psychic power.

Except Miki.

She dives deep into the hate culture that spreads through the homeless of Manhattan to the outskirts of New Jersey in effort to avenge Corey. Miki could swim so deep in hate that it might put her psychic ability to the test and change her in ways where there is no turning back.

I’m just a regular ol’ Midwest girl who likes Game of Thrones and am obsessed with Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I run, I eat, I run, I eat. It’s a vicous cycle. I love carbs, but there’s love-hate relationship with my ass and thighs. Mostly hate. I like a good cocktail (oh hell…who am I kidding? I love any cocktail). I’m a huge creature of habit, but I’ll tell you I’m flexible. I read every single day and if I don’t get a chance…watch the hell out, I’m a raving bitch. My iPad and me: BFFs. I’m direct and I make no apologies for it. I swear too much. I love alternative music and in my next life I want to be a bad-ass female rocker. I hate, hate, hate spiders, telemarketers, liver, acne, winter and loose hairs that fall down my shirt (don’t ask, it’s a thing).
